- It can do either. [Though, IMO, it's best to have abx clear from your body so rife has a clean plate, so to speak - I suggest doing rife, alone, with support herbs for liver / kidneys / adrenals].
However, Rosner's book describes how to incorporate antibiotics - or antimicrobial herbs during the rife breaks. Some have done both just not at the exact same times.
The thing is that rife can cause a herxheimer reaction & can be hard on liver / kidneys -- that is why only every 12 days for lyme. Adding antibiotics will put extra strain on liver / kidneys . . . not just from die-off / herx but just by the chemical nature of the drugs.
Other infections can be done in the meantime, though.
for lyme, rifing for lyme can only be done every 12 days. I'm not sure when during that antimicrobial oral Rx / herbs could be done.
