Has anyone taken Grapefruit Seed Extract with Ceftin or Cefuroxime Axetel as a cyst buster? Was it successful for you?
I've taken Flagyl before but side effects make it difficult. Dr. H. in his book mentions it as an alternative for those who cannot take Flagyl or Tindamax.
Has GSE been helpful to you in your Lyme treatment?

I didn't know it at the time but I REALLY herxed on that stuff. I was less treating than seeing what would happen. I'm more scared of GSE than I am of Flagyl now.
BUT you're really better off with GSE. Flagyl can cause peripheral neuropathy and GSE won't do that.

I'd say go very slow at first to make sure you can handle it. It caused a throat closure for me, meaning I didn't take anymore of it. Others do ok on it.

Thanks for your responses. We are all so different in our responses to medications and supplements. I had started taking the GSE capsules and relapsed several weeks later, but I wasn't taking abx at that time, either.
If I do try the GSE drops, I will go slowly.
