Anything going on with the bladder is usually histaminic. Antihistamines might work. If you can handle benedryl that's the best. I can't take it but other people swear by it.

Any H blocker might do the trick.

and cut back on foods high in histamine like wine, cheese, yogurt, strawberries, anything fermented.

Drink only water. Do you have pain in your bladder, too?

I am reading my genetic reports and see that I have so many b12 issues linked there so maybe that is it??? I have all the sx of B12 deficiency too. o my. another thing to work on...

Pelvic therapy can be a big help. It needs to be done consistently and religiously. It will take a few months to build up the muscles and see a difference.

it only lasted 3 days or so.. then left like the wind. ...

I knew it was a 'thing' happening and not a permanant change. I just knew. it was too night and day to be something 'age' related or whatever the excuse they give for stuff like this.

I think it is either menopause like my firend said , or something else from the stuff I am taking. I will see if it comes back.

I'm glad you're better. People with Lyme usually are deficient in B12.

I was incontinent for a while and discovered That When I drank a cup of Corn Silk Tea each morning, I wouldn't be incontinent for that day. (I buy it in bulk on Amazon and fill a tea ball with it and since it is such a mild, gentle-tasting Herb, I put the tea ball into my coffee, add cream & sugar and Wah Lah, I have my coffee and Cornsilk all at once.)

Bartonella can cause urinary incontinence.

Some meds like Wellbutrin can cause it too.

Sorry, I don't know what can help immediately. There are some exercises to strengthen that area.

tulips.... corn silk? is that from corn?
interesting .

I am pretty sure its a combo of lack of estrogen, tick disease damage to thyroid , etc, and B12 issues, which all are exasperated by my severe mold allergy and living in a house full of mold.

sigh

and maybe even heavy metals coming into play?

I am just glad it is gone. Ihope it doesn't come back, but I am sure that is yet to be seen and anything is possilbe - that is one thing that I have learne d over the last 2 years of my life---

that nothing is shocking when it comes to what lyme and cos do to your body/life.!!

I'm glad you're better and that it's not going to be a problem for you. It's good to know that if when you reach 90, you develop issues, corn silk is readily available.

Yes, it's from corn. It's an old American Indian remedy and works like a charm and drinking a cup of Corn Silk Tea every morning is very pleasant. I add a little Blue Agave. I've even

made my own by cutting the silk from corn when preparing it for cooking, but buying it in bulk is best.
