Hi all!

What exactly does Liposomal Art do?

How does it work?

Will I herx from it, etc? If so, what are the most common side effects?

Thanks!

I used a bottle of it around a year ago. I took liposomal artemisinin and not artemisia so not sure how the whole herb would differ. Liposomal encapsulation is mainly to aid absorption and cellular uptake of a particular substance. It's like a microsphere of a lipid (fat) surrounding a small amount of the substance.

I credit liposomal artemisinin with healing my neck as I herxed in that area from it. My neck has been fine ever since. I believe that it kills both Borrelia and Babesia-like protozoa.

With artemisinin your body starts making more and more enzymes that break it down quickly each successive day you take it. You can notice the herx lessening as well. The liposomal version is pricey enough that I wouldn't take it multiple days in a row to get the best bang for the buck. Would skip a day or two in between. I believe it's also best to take it apart from any antioxidants as they can interfere with it.

Thanks, project. So, did you notice a change in your moods at all? I found myself to be incredibly sensitive.

I just finished day four and will now take a three day break, according to my script.

I'm herxing or it's the moon or I don't know, but I have been feeling fantastic for months now and I've been on oregano for a week and a half and started the liposomal artemisinin four days ago and the poop hit the fan, I've felt awful.

Should I ride it out do you think? I hate the idea of going back to feeling like death again.

Thanks!

For me the Artemisinin herx is probably the one where I felt the least bad relatively soon after.

I always felt almost good after it wore off after 5 or 6 hours.

Cat's Claw on the other hand affects my mood horribly.

I don't know whether moodiness is purely from herxing or whether some herbs can just cause it in a person for some other reason.

The effect Cat's Claw has on me makes me wonder as it's way out of proportion to the other herx related symptoms.
