Llmd said that bee venom doesnt kill kyme only helps with inflammation? ..there is only one paper in 1996 in vitro?...any testimonials? Have i been wasting histamines and money?

Hey bluelyme! I'm stalking you, ha ha! Just replied to your comment on the microscopy thread, and saw your new thread here.
I'm very interested in BVT, and would like to discuss this with my doc the next visit. There are some good threads and success stories over at healingwell.com about BVT. Here are some:
I've read that it can cure lyme, but the lyme protocol is 2 years of consistent stings...I think 10 stings 3 days per week if I remember correctly. So, don't give up too soon. I think it does more than help with inflammation, but I cannot speak from experience. Hopefully in time I can.

Im following you...thanks ..the two functional nurses with lyme that i have met here swear by it ...they said it is the single most effective tx...i wish it didnt hurt so good ... if i have to something for the rest of my life id rather this than abx.it does give me energy and stops the pain and muscle wasting for a day or two..its a different kind of hurt almost jones for it.
I read amber rose book too .some bees have varroe mite which is a bit of concern i suppose .can bees have lyme? Does their venom kill it...i did see vidy from norquist the dentist where spirochettes were killed by honey...

I'd say you are very well-informed then. It's good you are keeping your thinking cap on regarding it.
Wow, if it gives you energy, stops pain, stops muscle wasting temporarily... I'd say that is a great start! Perhaps you need to increase the number of stings you do per session? I don't think there is a set ceiling on the number of stings you can do.
From what I've read, spirochetes have zero tolerance for melittin and it almost always kills them or at least degrades their outer membrane such that the immune system finishes them off, since it is able to recognize them then.

There's a woman on another chronic illness related forum who's experienced leaps and bounds in her health since undertaking BVT, and more than just in terms of inflammation. She's herxed and all of that.
Now, it probably goes without saying that it may not be THE treatment, but quite possibly part of it.
We get so much from nature already, in terms of offense, defense, repair, right? Why couldn't a little bee venom do a number on the buggers as well?
From an uneducated perspective, I'm more inclined to believe the bee venom having an effect than something like knotweed or cat's claw, a weed and some bark.
Now, I've experienced the power of those two though, so I know their worth, but you get the idea.

Do you have trouble with muscle twitching and internal vibrations?
I also have much trouble with leg weakness.
Does stinging help with these?

To be honest the twitching hasnt improved .nor has gotten worse.i started having my head and spinal are stung...woooeee...i did hear it can help with nerve regeneration. I have been up taking my fats ,cod liver oil ,coconut oil. Monolaurin etc, in hopes of mylein repair.
