Hey everyone I just got my hickman placed on thursday and had my first infusion of rocephin that day. Today will be my fourth day on IV rocephin and I don't think any herx is happening.
Is this normal? Those of you who did iv rocephin how soon did you start herxing and what symptoms did you experience? thanks.

Herxing is different for everyone.
Not everyone has a noticeable herx. You don't need a herx to heal.
You might just make slow, steady progress.

well that would be awesome !! haha just seems highly unlikely for me considering when I was on orals... I herxed my brains out =[ I guess we will see what happens. thanks guys

- If your liver support is good and solid, that may be enough to minimize any potential herx. I've talked to three who did IV roceph. and had no herx, just felt better.
I think orals likely also really affected your gut tissue and some effects may not actually have been the herx part of it . . . so you may have a much easier time with the IV. Be sure to still take good probiotics and good anti-candida measures.
Be sure you are taking the GALLBLADDER protection that is required with that Rx.
Be sure to keep liver support up and still protect EARS, very much. See the Tinnitus thread here for that:

Thank Keebler. I am taking actigall for the gall bladder but what do you recommend I take for anti candida measures ??

Very good probiotics and also foods with a good range of naturally occurring probiotics such as sauerkraut, miso (be sure it's gluten free, not from barley), Kimchee if you can take the heat, etc.
Diet with no simple carbohydrates from the food "industry" - yet rich & full of complex carbs and their nutrients from the earth - along with balance of good protein and good fats.
There are many good herbs that have antifungal properties. A good naturopathic doctor or acupuncturist could guide you. Some include: allicin; berberine; coptis; etc.
