"These patients need customized care, not just a prescription for antibiotics."

I read it more carefully after posting and see it's the same old "same old".

He never did say what customized care would be. Probably think we need a psychiatrist.

Unless I missed it, they are no longer claiming the infection is completely eradicated with standard treatment. It's as if the issue of persistence is irrelevant now. If you're still sick after a few weeks of treatment, you're sunk, but we'll roll up our sleeves to make you feel better.

Substitute "tuberculosis" for Lyme Disease in this study to get how nonsensical this is.

--------------------
Sick since at least age 6, now 67. Decades of misdiagnosis. Numerous arthritic, neuro, psych, vision, cardiac symptoms. Been treating for 7 years, incl 8 mos on IV. Bart was missed so now treating that.

Such hogwash. Still, thanks for posting for we need to know what the "news" of the day is that's being put out for public, even if it's not good quality research. It's like they've never even read Burrascano's work and never considered it.

the "study" was so badly designed.

Carl Tuttle's email today includes this near the bottom of his Change.org page

Suppressed scientific evidence:

Peer Reviewed Evidence of Persistence of Lyme Disease Spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi and Tick-Borne Diseases after the mandated IDSA treatment guideline.

When “evidence based medicine” has been spun to fit bias agendas and the patient voice has been intentionally ignored who investigates the dishonest science? -Carl Tuttle
