Essential oils cross the blood brain barrier and so you'll get neurological herxes that affect your mood alot. Rife is even worse for killing stuff in the brain and causing this type of herx.
If you have a bunch of neurolyme you basically have to block off time to essentially go completely insane for a few days while herxing. I don't think it's possible to avoid this. L-Theanine and GABA help a bit but I haven't found anything that magically makes the psychological herx symptoms go away.

I'd try homeopathic Ignatia amara 30c for crying hysterically. It can be quite calming for exactly this state.

The first time I tried oil of oregano in a pre filled capsule, I had a major neuro herx. Felt buzzy, zappy and just completely out of it. After reading someone's post, I decided to try the veg caps and buy the oregano oil with the dropper to fill the caps so you can slowly work up. You may have just started way too high. When I did this I tolerated much better. It also simulated a fever for awhile. I recently used it again for a few weeks in the same way mostly for candida up to 7 drops and would fill the rest with a little coconut oil. Take with food as it can be hard on your stomach. After a few weeks I switched over to candida clear. I read somewhere you have to be careful with oregano as it can also kill good bacteria which makes sense, so lots of probiotics.
