Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else? This has been the most devastating thing to happen to me physically. I am living on the couch.
I still can't believe I could be this sick or that no one else has been through this.
It would be great if someone else had been through this and gotten better! !

I think everyone has truthfully, if they've ever had EBV. It should clear up with treatment, although I don't know if mine has - haven't tested for a couple months.

oh yes...it can happen. Do you have a Rife - you could do a Preset channel for EBV and do lymph drainage. We used nosodes and Red Root.

Mine comes and goes. If I'm not sleeping enough etc- I'm more susceptible- I think the key is to do your best to take care of yourself. At one point I was antivirals- they seemed to help. Hang in there!

- Rife is a good idea. Another that has helped me a lot:
A very specific brand of Olive Leaf extract (or a brand that uses the same methods of growing, harvesting, processing) - Seagate. Detail:

This isn't just a passing fatigue. This has made my Lyme experience look like a walk in the park. End of April I got really tired one night and woke up weak and sick etc. It never went away
Was your experience like that? I've never heard of anything like this.
I do have a rife machine but scared of the herx.
What was rifing for ebv like? Bad herx?

Hi Tommyboy,
Yes, my EBV reactivated with high titers this year.
My doc says most allopathic treatments for EBV are somewhat successful for epithelial cells infected with EBV. NOT the EBV that lives and replicates in our B-Cells.
Also says most antiviral treatment for EBV is research based...there isn't an antiviral specifically for EBV. Mostly EBV reactivations are seen in severely immunocompromised people.
I am on antiviral for two other viruses I had reactivate at the same time (lucky me)...
For the first time since this winter my lymphnodes in my neck are smaller than my thumb, so that's good. Brain fog is better. Antivirals are working, however, I can't take anything for bone pain because of the stress the antivirals put on my kidneys.
However, the fatigue is still crippling. I can sleep for 22 hours a day. I set alarms so after ten hours I wake up.
I take the dog out, then come back in and go to sleep.
I shower then go back to bed.
I eat a simple meal, then go back to bed.
Some days, I can stay awake for four hours in a row. Today is one of those days, thought I'd read a bit on the forum here.
I completely relate to your struggle.
Have you tried any herbal or allopathic antivirals?
Regards, Greta

I am taking the Byron White formula for EBV. I herxed pretty bad on it. I couldn't even tolerate one drop per day at first and had to water the drop down really far and then sip at it. I would get extremely sick from just one drop. I worked my way up to 30 drops per day and the herxing is minimal. I believe it is helping. My EBV and cytomegalovirus titers were high. I don't even remember having mono in high school or anything.
