Hi guys just wanted to ask if anyone knows if its safe to take Primaquine for weeks/months on end, at one 30mg dose per day.

The pharmacology indicates that it increases a certain type of hemoglobin in the blood that is usually not present but that isn't a problem in most people who dont have a genetic deficiency called G6PD.

So thoughts? Safe to take this drug daily for a while? It's part of my anti protozoal protocol. thanks!

Ugh...I got refloxed by primaquine. It's a quinolone like levaquin and cipro, but without the fluoride component.

Be careful. My tendons swelled up on it. It happened the 2nd day of taking it, but adverse drug reactions can happen at anytime.
