I'm interested in hearing about herxes or side effects from plaquenil. I'm taking it for autoimmune. bowels are terrible since taking it. diarrhea. Feel like I'm herxing. Neck ache, body aches from head to toe. Feel bloated. Thanks and God Bless Theresa

I don't know. I lasted 3 days on that stuff.

My stomach didn't like it either.

It has extremly long half life ..3 weeks ?.. it is immunosuppressive and can effect eyes ..it may have babesia action and may hit lyme round bodies .

ldn and alinia maybe options ...

I've been taking plaquenil since the end of June. I was really nervous about taking it and basically waited to add it in my regime as late as possible.

My herxes were just feeling extremely tired along with muscle weakness. I was also nauseous.

Feeling much better now, yes your body aches sound similar to what I experienced.
