I need to see a good dentist ASAP. My insurance is NJ Blue Cross Horizon Advntage EPO. I live in the Yardley PA/Trenton NJ area but will travel up to an hour for a really good dentist. Thanks

Try these links. They have biological dental referrals (you would have to ask if they take insurance):

You might also try PA & NJ Lyme Support Groups to see if they know of a good dentist:

I hope that you can find a good dentist pronto. Thank you, hopingandpraying, for giving her all those good links! Dentistry is a mine-field.

Thanks so much hopingandpraying and Rumgirl. We just discovered a few moments ago that a dentist we knew personally yrs ago now does dental implants! He was just specializing in gum disease last I knew but does implants now.

He does not take our insurance, but we also have Afflack and as i said we knew him personally and I know he is a great guy and he does conscientious and meticulous work; I am not taking a gamble with him.

The extra expense is going to be hard, but other things I need done could be delayed and I could have some of those things done by a dentist who does accept our insurance, but the most serious things I will have this dentist do because I know he will take good care of me.

If anyone else needs a great dentist in the Clifton Heights PA area, I would highly reccomend this dentist. I have been harmed by so many bad Dr's/dentists, feeling better that I have someone I can really trust to go to. So glad we thought of him! Just wish our insurance plan was on his list. Thanks again hopingandpraying and Rumgirl!

I am still going to read your posts hopingandpraying as having some of the work done by a dentist who takes our insurance and is closer to where we live, will help. Thanks!

You're very welcome - glad to help.

I think finding a good biological dentist will be very good for you (my whole family sees one).

One request - please break up your long post into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.

To do that, click the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post". Thanks.

Oh, Rumigirl, sorry for the misspell! I am going to try to make the local support group Sunday but don't know if I will feel up to it. I have been wanting to attend for a long time.

I have been in touch by email. The leader attends our landlord's church and he gave me her name some time ago.

Ironically, I had spoken over the phone to her daughter some yrs ago before we moved here. I helped get her children dx, but now they know more than I know.

Rereading my post Rumigirl, I think I did spell your name right. The tablet I type on has a mind of it's own and changes what I type.
