Hi,

I am getting very nervous and thinking the worst.

About 3 months ago i started to have belching bloating no big deal because i have had it before. I had h pylori about 8 years ago in which i lost alot of weight and was very sick. i always assumed my stomach issues with HP.

About 2 weeks ago i started having acid refulx. Its persistent and its not going away. It causes me chest pains, cough, sore throat and ear ache. i have lost about 4lbs since then. I feel nauseous and acidic in my mouth all the time.

I forced the doctor to retest me for h pylori and it has come out negative. and i was so sure it was hP again. Now i am thinking the worst. I have endoscopy scheduled for this thursday and i keep reading about stomach cancer and how it resembles my symptoms.

Can lyme or Co cause these? Has anyone had GI symptoms to find out it it was nothing related to cancer but other infections?

My husband cousin just passed away with stomach cancer and one of his first symptoms was heartburn.

I cant even focus on anything.

May God Bless you, answer your prayers, relieve you of your pain and make you stronger than what you are today. Ameen.

Try not to stress until tests come back.

I have MANY gastro issues. I have gastroparesis which causes food to NOT move out of my stomach very well. It causes, nausea, pain, bloating, etc. etc. Lyme and co's DO cause many GI symptoms from what I'm learning.

Try to think the best until you know for sure. I know that is easier said than done.

I have severe problems in this area too. I may need another endoscopy to make sure all is OK.

In the meantime, check out the info on mast cell activation disorder. It can make you sensitive to everything and it can be caused by Lyme.

What are you taking for the acid reflux?

Also .. salicylates cause stomach pain for me. Many foods contain sals .. maybe you are eating a diet high in sals?

Keep us posted and try not to worry!

[group hug]

Oh yes, I definitely have gastro issues. Many of us have gastro issues and food sensitivities. Try not to think the worst. Hugs.

Yes, as others have said, Lyme can create a lot of gastro symptoms. But parasites are another thing that can create these symptoms. Testing for them is very, very tough though to get right.

Your first step is to get the endoscopy on Thursday and see what they find. And maybe they will need to do an ultrasound to check on the gallbladder and all the ducts, too, to make sure there isn't a stone in a duct, or gallstones, etc. There are a number of tests they can do

to check on all this, MRI, another gallbladder test (can't think of the name of it now) that checks it's function. So, one step at a time.

Anything you can do to help relax your mind in the meantime will be good---meditation tapes, music, prayer, a walk in nature, whatever relaxes you.

Good luck on Thursday!

My endo showed it was just a hiatal hernia ..probablh caused by lyme ...however spirocheatal infection can play into cancer as alan macd said with glial carcinomas and hpv with throat cancer

for rumi also ...dont worry ...read up on the rife thread where dan cured his chrohns and hpylori ..also many people with cancer have had remissions from stage 4 with rife , if you hit the bug behind it it falls be it ebv or cmv or hpv or spirochetes ..

watch the ted talks with anthony holland and maybe save for a plasma tube rife ?

I had the endoscopy and it showed nothing. No inflammation and biopsy was negative for h pylori.

However doctor said that upper part of my stomach is not contracting right therefore i have belching and acid reflux. The muscle is weak. Does anyone have this?
