My LLMD on CT stated he is overwhelmed by treating me over the past 3 years and doesn't know how to help me so he is NO LONGER going to see me. He mentioned a few LLMD but I can't afford to see them.

I'm devastated and can't afford a Dr unless he accepts insurance I'm taking a lot of adderal just to lgrt out of bed and off the couch which I know isn't good for me.

I'm so down and feel paralyzed and don't know how to move forward.

What do I do now??

How is this possible? LLMD fired you? Wow I'm really sorry to hear that. How distressing!

I read your post last night and was really sorry to hear about your doctor troubles. But a little later on I thought "what if this is a blessing in disguise?". Maybe your new doctor or treatment will be just what you need to get well!

I've heard of this happening before. I even saw a guy who was much improved quite quickly with his new doctor, within weeks actually. Praying the same for you!!

In the meantime, have you tried Buhner herbs or any alternative treatment? I was really skeptical about herbs but they're a lot stronger than I would've imagined.

I agree with Sick Sam - you may get hooked up with someone who has some more ideas for you - encouraging you to find the ones who take insurance - what about starting a post in Seeking?

PM sent with some suggestions.

Sorry to hear you lost your LLMD. Perhaps it is a good thing to move on to another one who might have new ideas and a fresh look at your treatment.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MassachusettsLyme/info

Maybe they can help.

If he fired you, it's maybe better like that.

It means he doesn't know what to do, so don't waste money with him.

Maybe that will come for good. I do hope you find help soon.
