If you can get diagnosed with ulcerative colitis or and ilieal (sp?) pouch, there's a discount program.
How much vsl are you getting for that price? I pay about $310 for 60 packets at Walgreens with a discount card.

I get 40 packets from Walgreens for 218.00.
A feew years back, they were going to jack the price way higher, but then I called CVS and they quoted me $218. When I told this to my local Walgreens, the manager immediately said they would match the price, and sell it to me for $218.
But, even better ... if you check ebay you can often find it priced much lower than that. The last time I ordered it from ebay I paid $160 for 40 packets.
On a side note, I have found that the capsules work much better for my gut than the powder. I have no idea why.

That's really interesting that the capsules work better for you. Maybe I need to try them.
So now they're trying to charge you $450 for 40 sachets? That's ridiculous. You'd be better off buying a double quantity of the regular strength from their website.
I'm not sure I'd trust these from eBay. I'd worry that the seller didn't keep them at the proper temp or something.

Ah, I just found another option for you. If you purchase through Blink health your prescription will cost $207.55. I've used them for other prescriptions. Very easy to use.

60 through Blink is $308 right now. Still expensive, but better than $450.

With Blink, you pick the prescription up at any local pharmacy you choose. So Blink doesn't ever touch the actual prescription, it's all done like usual by your pharmacy.
You prepay on Blink's website, fill your prescription at your pharmacy like normal, and show your Blink card to the pharmacist. They put it in like insurance, and it tells them you have a $0 copay (because you have already paid Blink at this point).
It's saved me a lot of money on a couple of things. I went from paying like $50 for Gabapentin to only paying $8. I've used it for VSL before too.

Just buy regular store-available VSL and take multiple packets. Same thing. The problem is DS is prescription only so theres no price competition. But honestly, its just a probiotic, its not something you need to pay hundreds of dollars for out of pocket as a prescription. The same strains are in the non DS and its going to do just about the same thing.

Or buy regular VSL and mix it with other probiotics which is good for you anyways since they all have different strains.
