Hi All,

I wanted to get opinions on how long to continue IV abx and oral abx after symptoms are gone. I am a long term lyme case who was diagnosed after 10+ years of having symptoms and have been on abx for about 2 years now. I am just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and feel better. I don't want to stop too early, but don't want to relapse either.

Thank you

From what I've heard, a good LLMD will keep you on the antibiotics until you are feeling better and even then will keep you on them 2 months after. Maybe somebody else can clarify.

Minimum of two months after you start feeling well. So happy you are recovering!!!!

Lymetoo: I love this: My doctor did flagyl at the end to be sure I had no herxing.

I was thinking of doing the same thing! I'm going to ask my LLMD to try it. That would be in January.

So I assume nothing happened, then?

Might be a good idea to try pulsing near the end of your treatment.
