I've started to experience more and more muscle pain especially in my shoulders, back, and glutes. Quite honestly it's killer. Everyday I wake up with extreme muscle tightness
and pain. The pain lasts in each location for a couple days and then in moves to the other side in one of those three locations. I used to think that t was just me sleeping the wrong way but it
can't be that I wake up everyday with such extreme pain. It feels like i worked out or have fifty knots in that spot but neither of which is true. I take magnesium every day so it can't be that.
Does anyone have any experience with this? It's becoming extremely painful and either leaves me with a limp or impairs my movement.
Thank you!

You can try different things to see if they help.
One of them is magnesium. Question is, are you taking enough of it?
Another thing you could try would be turmeric - it's a cooking spice and able to reduce inflammation. I get it in bulk at the health food store and dip empty 00-size capsules into it and take a couple a day.
Frankly, when I first found out I had Lyme, I put myself on my own antibiotics, which I had leftover in my drawer from another infection. Within a week, all muscle pain was gone!
That antibiotic for me was clindamycin. Everyone needs to find what works for them.
I also do a lot of stretching, just to help get more blood flow into the area. I sometimes do it in a hot shower or after one.
I also do pool stretching - literally stretch out all muscles while in a pool. I rehabbed my entire pelvic frozen area that way a year and a half before I found out I had Lyme.
If you have the bucks for something more, a biomat can be something to sleep on that might help, in that you could put the temp up and sleeping warmer might prevent the wake-up with tighter muscles. Just a thought.

I take magnesium 4 times a day to help manage my migraines along with other things. It helped a lot with my pains but then these really deep muscle pains started to appear.
I do a bit of stretching but nothing relieves this. These areas are too refer to massage. I'm currently taking azithromyzin, Plaquenil, and rocephin but I will definitely try the turmeric.
