I'm starting Art probably on Tuesday. I'm trying to get prepared. My LLMD told me if I have babesia, I will have a horrible herx.

Wondering what everyone's reactions to Art has been. and any suggestions on how to take it, etc.

I couldn't take it when I tried - got sick. So I suggest always, when trying anything new, take a very teensy tiny amount to see how you do.

i always start off taking a new herb very slowly. I open the capsule and dump out 3/4 of it the for first day's dose.

Then I gradually increase the amount of herb I'm taking. If it's homeopathic, I start off with 1-3 drops in an ounce of water

and work up very slowly. If it's a pill, I cut it into quarters and start off with 1/4 of a pill.

Hi, not sure how the Artemisinin worked for you but I can tell you how it has been going for me. My LLMD has me pulse it 3 days on 4 days off. I'm also on several antibiotics and Mepron at the same time. The first time I took it about 4 hours after the first dose the herxing started. All of my prior symptoms came back. By the 4th dose I was still functioning but all symptoms werr present plus extreme muscle weakness. By the third day the symptoms were gradually decreasing. I"be pulsed it for the past 12 weeks and the herx stopped at about 5 weeks then came back with a vengeance on week 7. It is gradually improving now with less symptoms with each pulse. So, it is definitely working and I feel better during the week when I'm off more and more. Hope your experience is going well! Paul

Art helps me when I have Babesia symptoms. I take it for about three days then switch over to Sida Acuta, Cryptolepis and Bidens tinctures for a few days.

You aren't supposed to stay on Art for longer than 2 weeks - then you're supposed to go off for a week. But everyone's different - what works for one sometimes doesn't for another.

Haven't tried Art in a long time but I remember back in 2005 my LLMD recommended it.

Next appointment he asked how the Art was working and I said, "Well, I have to sit on the floor after I take it so I don't fall to the floor." He said, "Well, you're not taking that any more."
