I had noticed about 30 minutes after dinner Monday night it felt like something was stuck in my throat-almost like food was lodged in there.

I have drunk tons of water since then, hot drinks, eaten more food, and nothing will budge this stuck in throat feeling which has now been over 24 hours.

I have never experienced this before, and I wondered if maybe someone else has experienced this and it could be linked to the disease? I know it is a long shot but I just don't know what could cause this.

I thought an allergic reaction but I don't know why it would last so long, and I have never had this before. I also don't have insurance so it is hard for me to get care [Frown]

It could be caused by muscle tension, emotions, inflammation, enlarged thyroid.

I'd try homeopathic Ignatia amara as it is for lumps in the throat. If it works then you know it was from a muscle tension or emotion.

Avoid talking on a cell phone close to your head as that can bother the thyroid too.

That something stuck in the throat feeling is exactly how I felt. Sure enough it was thyroid disease and a goiter. Lyme is know to attack this gland.

It could be a food impaction. Try drinking something carbonated to see if that will break it up. The other thing that may work is something viscous like applesauce or yogurt.

Also getting up and walking around to see if gravity will do it.

If that doesn't work, please call your doctor.

I hav3 experienced this recently. My thought is that it is a swollen thyroid exacerbated by emf, in my case a new smartphone.

Does staying hydrated help you? I had a lump feeling in my throat one day when I was super dehydrated which had caused a mucous build up. If you have other indications of

mucous in your system, you could consider a supplement like Mucus Relief. I also had some symptoms of thyroid imbalance

and used to take a Kelp tablet each day but now I take an Iodoral tablet.
