As I had said in a previous post, the constant, surging 24/7 fear that I had was relieved early on with abx.

However, I still have anxiety, some degree of fear and the feeling of being overwhelmed at the least little thing....totally NOT the real me.

A couple of examples...

I spilled a container of razor cartridges in the bathroom closet the other day. I was so overwhelmed that I closed the door and cleaned them up 3 days later.

Even deciding what to have for supper is like standing at the base of Mt. Everest with a 40 lb. backpack on.

I couldn't find a paper I was looking for yesterday. I nearly went off the deep end and it ruined the entire day even though I tried not to let it.

It's like I fall into a black hole.

Dreading the 2 1/2 hr trip to see my LLMD this week. I just need to be sedated until we get there!

I've been on abx for 4 weeks. I'm hoping these issues will resolve over time.

I've had some other sx that were unexplainable and blamed on other things that have resolved since taking abx.

These sx will be discussed at my office visit.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Hey Maryland cat lover,

Sorry to hear about the anxiety.

One thought is the left over symptoms will reduce once you have been treating longer.

Second, when you herx your anxiety and brain fog can intensify and even go thru the roof.

Here is a list of herx related symptoms that may be of interest. It also has some methods to help reduce symptoms too.

Hang in there, ok?

I wouldn't be as passive and wait for herxes to ruin my life...

I do think it's possible to bind these neurotoxins off and feel next to normal, without those awful toxins making us freak.

Freaking is still fine, but then if you let these toxins run freely for longer, you may get your liver and kidney in rags, and then, it will be very hard to get rid of any type of infection, allergies will rise to the top, candida will come say hello and then never leave you...

That is why I keep telling people: bind toxins off. Take LOADS of binders such as chlorella, MSM, charcoal, homeopathics, support the liver with AT LEAST milk thistle, take anything that supports your kidneys (solidago, bear garlic)...

Dr H (New York) said recently that the BEST and most efficient treatment for lyme is DETOX.

Dr. K (Seattle) has been repeating that for 3 decades, but people still do not do that, and just suffer.

Maybe it's not toxins, but if you don't bind these stuff off, you'll never know.

I know that about 90% of my neuro problems and fatigue were merely toxins because of the simple equation:

the moment I took binders 6 times a day, non stop, during the whole time I was herxing, was the moment my neuro symptoms disappeared,

... fatigue improved to about 80%, even pain diminished,

... inflammation diminished, my digestion went normal, and I became someone socially acceptable (not a nerve- wreck, as usual).

Only taking antimicrobials, on and on again, will never do that effect. Never.
