I am so confused. I tested positive for RMSF. Doctor said I probably contracted it March..based on onset of symptoms, No rash.

LLMD put me on Minocycline, but I crash emotionally...so badly she took me off it. Now almost 4 weeks later she is doing Doxy starting at 5ml (25mg) and slowly increasing to 200mg over the next 6 weeks.

I can't tell what is the RMSP and what is a neuro-Lyme (19 years and counting with the Lyme) resurgence. My Dysautonomia seems to have really kicked in, too. I feel like hell.

Anybody have experience with this? What did you do?

Sorry I can't help you there.

I just wanted to say that few people know which symptom is specific to one or another infection...

I guess you just keep treating, binding toxins off, then see if you feel better ?!

So if I understood well, you got bitten in March again and therefore, got a new fresh infection?

Or is it a relapse?

My LLMD believes I was bitten and contracted RMSP. I did not get the rash. I think a combination of this illness and some traumatic life events has pushed me out of remission.

I'm so sorry! I agree that rarely do we know exactly what symptom is coming from which infection.

How long were you in remission?

Hoping your LLMD can nip this in the bud...
