Can anyone throw me a source? I think I know more than my lyme literate doctor at this point, and I'm going a little nuts.
I found out we can generally get antiparasitics in the states without running into any red tape (from the same places you'd get meds for cattle), but no such luck with antibiotics. I bought some antibiotics from china a few times, but the quality was always very poor, not really fit for human consumption. So, where do you guys get your meds?
I'm looking for stuff like, tinidazole, flagyl, doxycycline, azithromycin, clarithromycin, dapsone, and pyrazinamide.

The option I suggest is going to a top notch lyme doctor in Washington, D.C. who just opened her practice to new patients. She hasn't taken new patients for nearly 3 years, but now she will.
I am sure she knows one thousand times more than you and she has had about 15 years of experience treating this disease. She and her children had it years ago.
You only have to see her in person once every 6 months, so that is not much travel at all. You do telephone appointments with her the other months. I can send you lots of info on how she treats.
A number of people in Ohio are coming here for their treatment because our doctors are better than any you have in Ohio. We just have so much more lyme here.
So, if you want the doc's name, let me know. Lyme is extremely difficult to cure, even for a very experienced doctor, so I doubt you will have much success treating yourself. And, you could actually harm yourself. You need to do monthly tests to be sure nothing bad is happening to liver, etc.
Why not give yourself the best chance of getting well and get in with a top notch lyme specialist. That is what I recommend.
Folks with no money at all may be forced to self treat, but hopefully that is not you.
I got rid of my lyme, babs, and bart by going to a doctor who treated only lyme disease and had done it for many years. (In other words, he was a lyme specialist.) He followed the Burrascano protocol. It worked for me. 12 years and counting and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life. I have the same life I had before lyme disease.
There are very, very few docs who specialize in lyme disease. Once you go to one, you will see the difference. This is a great opportunity to see one of the best.

I would love to get the name of that doctor. The one I'm seeing doesn't want to do anything about biofilms; she's got a lot of gaps in her knowledge unfortunately. I would be absolutely thrilled to see someone so knowledgeable.

Thumbs up for the doctor TF is recommending to you, TF helped me get to her in April and my life has really had a positive turn. Thanks again TF, I always think of you, lookup, lymehope, and hopingandpraying when my days were hard.

Not to gloat too much, but TF is literally a Godsend here on Lymenet. I would have probably ended my life sometime in May had I not found the hope and help I desperately needed. Now I'm all verklempt! *wipes tears* Big hugs to you Bonnie, I hope you're enjoying the summer and your pool!

You can get fish antibiotics if absolutely necessary. I haven't tried them but I have read that other people have used them. Not sure where to get them but you could do a search on google.
Some people don't have the money for expensive medical care...

thomaslabs.com packages and sells the fish antibiotics, in case your fish ever gets sick.
And by the way, I have a bottle of fish amoxil, and the pills are exactly what you'd get from the pharmacy. Same pill numbers on them and everything.
