Can you get igenex test without an order from doctor. Can you get the test and only then go to a doctor with the results.

You can also discuss with IGeneX which tests to get. It's IgM and IgG Western Blots for Lyme.
I usually ask people to look at a list of symptoms for the co-infections babesia, bartonella and ehrlichia, and if they think they match, then to go ahead and test for all.
Some people just do it all. I did just Lyme, as I'm wasn't symptomatic for anything else.
The signing doctor does not have to know what's going on. My primary doc did not. They get a copy of results and then we need to check in with knowledgeable Lyme folks for interp, as it can be tricky to understand them.

My pcp dismissed it completely so I don't even know if she will sign off on it. Llmd not covered by insurance. So it would be an expensive visit just to get him to sign off. I haven't had any symptoms. Just found a tick in my bed. So haven't had a consultation yet.

I would never found out I also had "Rocky Mountain spotted fever" And 5 other coinfections on top of it I was shocked because I never saw on the internet that "Rocky Mountain spotted fever" was even associated with Lyme
.
Hahah... where I picked up all this , only god knows where I am still shocked
Trust me I was so skeptical about all this Lyme stuff
And yes it's pricey Do a gofundme on Facebook or the internet Tell your story Random People or friends will help, watch you'll see !
Your just looking to get tested , not treated And some Lyme doctors do over the phone once you done the initial visit ..so it's a lot cheaper
You want a " ilads " LLMD
-------------------- . . Hi there thanks for any info Or if I could help in any way Let me know

Consider DNA Connexions, no doctor needed. Or "Any Lab Test Now" if you have a location close by which apparently is referenced on the IGeneX site (and has doctors to sign off labs in house).
