I've taken it for toxins since I've been better from Lyme, so I don't know how I would have reacted then. Now when I take it, it only makes me feel better. I had food poisoning a few weeks ago, and it only made me feel better.

Not from what I've seen. Scads of people on Takisumi daily and no one ever felt high from it. The most common side effect is constipation(1 out of 10). Drinking more water help move out what it binds up.

I've read it can have some mild anti-fungal properties, so maybe that's it.
I'm just glad I can tolerate it since I can't tolerate most other meds/supplements.
