not sure why I'm having trouble getting my dr to allow me these tests. They seems to not find them reliable. which tests did you have done? I'm sure my levels are high for both but want to see it for myself.

My blood test for histamine came back OK .. MCAS showed up with the 24 hr urine test.
Most doctors don't have a clue about this. It's a fairly "new" disease .. as far as being IDENTIFIED.
Let me know what you find out about ammonia.

I had a urine test for neurotransmitters ordered by a naturopathic doctor which showed high glutamate and histamine for me.
I don't remember lab but will probably run across it since I'm organizing my messy files now.
