For anyone on Bicillin LA IM, how long did it take to notice an impact?

I started noticing subtle improvements in the first month, followed by slow, gradual improvements overall. I treated with multi abx combos for probably a year or longer before adding bicillin.

I was recently on it for 5 weeks. Each week I had tiny (but noticeable) improvements in 3 specific symptoms, and many of my symptoms it just didn't touch (they kept getting worse).

I switched to oral cell wall antibiotics, and they started hitting the symptoms Bicillin wasn't getting, which was surprising to me.

Thanks very much for the personal experiences. We just started on IM, and were curious about how patient (or impatient) to be.

We also went through an extensive series of oral ABX before the IM.
