Anyone know what to expect from these meds?
I've had no problem taking doxy before but have heard bactrim can be strong. My LLMD suspects bartonella along with lyme do that's part of the reason for these medication choices.
Also is it okay to pulse these meds, I.E. Take them every other day or at least the zithro and bactrim?
Thanks

I did NOT do well on doxy, but I love Bactrim. Unfortunately, everyone's body is different and most of the time we have to wait and see how we react to each med.
I would follow your Dr.'s advice on when to take. My Dr. has always been under the direction that constant antibiotics is better than pulse.
My LLMD also suspects Bart.
Hang on for the ride. It DOES get better, but it is slow with lots of ups and downs.

I'd suggest following your doctor's advise, However, you don't have to suffer to treat these infections.
Be sure to tell your doctor if you have any problems.
