I know Dr. Schaller recommends a very high dose of HH, I think it was like 20 capsules per day. But then Zhang came out with an HH2, which is presumably more strong. What would the dose of HH2 be, then? Still 20 a day? Any info or experiences?
Thanks.

Bryan- when I called Hepapro because I had ordered HH by mistake, they said you have to take double for same efficacy. Thus, I'd say 10. You could call Hepapro yourself and ask tomorrow.

- Start with ONE regular strength per day for a week or so. Then go up to TWO per day - for a day and see you how do. If okay, continue at 2 a day for a week, and on and on slowly like that.
when you do okay with regular strength for a month or so, then it may be time to consider the stronger dose.
Talk to a doctor about this. If you get it through Hepapro, please, please, ask to talk to the doctor about this. He is excellent with his help. However, you must read the Dr. Z book first so you have that basic background.
Go back over the chapter on Houttuynia and then read all you can from other medical writings. -

- The thing is, too, that AI#3 is also required - it's the liver support part of this protocol.
Be sure the other parts of your protocol are in balance, too. Conversation with Hepapro tomorrow, scheduling a time to talk with Dr. Z, that should help. He's been enormously important with his consultations for me.
And, by the way, this protocol is not at all encouraging super high doses as another might. Also be aware that the person behind the super high doses of this is not trained in herbal medicine &, therefore, IMO, the balance of houttuynia can be off kilter.
I think it's best to stay within the bounds of this multi-faceted protocol where balance is key. -

- Houttuynia c. is detailed in this book, as part of a protocol:
