I have Strep Throat and I've been taking an antibiotic for a couple of days and I feel like I'm starting to get a yeast infection. Would a grapefruit seed extract supplement alone be able to kill the yeast infection?

It might work. One thing: Grapefruit Seed extract interacts with some medications. I forgot which ones. Something about the chemicals in grapefruits. Maybe you can google it.
You can also try undecanoic acid from Thorne Research. It can bother your stomach, though.

In my experience, GSE is not enough on its own to battle yeast, at least in my case. Undecylinic acid is a part of my daily protocol (so is GSE) while on antibiotics, but I still need additional antifungals sometimes.

Thanks for the replies! I'm going to look into that. What other antifungals would you recommend?

When my candida flared up, I also used caprylic acid and oil of oregano. Good luck.
