I've had neuropathy for years in my feet. It began after treatment in hospital for septicemia. Last month I was hospitalized again for septicemia. But this time it's my hands and terrible pain. I can't stand to touch most things. My pain. doc gave me Nucynta and Elavil but it's not very helpful. I've had to stop all antibiotics due to horrendous diahrrea. I don't want to go to hospital again...especially with colds and flu going around. I'm drinking alot of gatorade.
Any suggestions? I swear some of you are better than my good doctors.

Are you taking Florastor?

Is the septicemia ongoing? Is that what you need antibiotics for?

I'm so sorry you are suffering so much.

Those are pain meds are you taking anything to help reduce the neuropathy symptoms?

I've been taking Gabapentin and Trileptal it definitely helps to calm down the nerve misfirings from the brain. Have you tried those?
