Phil Baby Baker (ALDF Big Toad) has gone back to the original IDSA hate speech used a couple of decades ago, calling us “a small, but vocal group”, amongst other things.

Perhaps it is time he hears us “ROAR” once more!

QUOTE- "Unfortunately, the issue receiving the most attention in the media --- and on the internet --- is the condition called “chronic Lyme disease”” that has yet to be defined unequivocally as a distinct clinical entity.

This is due mainly due to the large amount of misinformation being disseminated by a small --- but vocal — minority of Lyme disease activists and “Lyme literate physicians”” who, when it comes to understanding the peer--reviewed scientific literature on Lyme disease, do not appear to be at all “literate”."

No abstract, but I found his full (free) manuscript at the link below. And what a bunch of garbage it is, oh my!

Am J Med. 2017 Dec 25.
Straight Talk About Chronic Lyme Disease.

I think we could diagnose his condition: he has a bad case of CD - chronic denialism. This condition is caused by too many COIs - conflicts of interest. Made worse by ALOM - a lot of money. His talk needs to be renamed Crooked Talk about Chronic Lyme Disease - will describe him and the ketes. Btw, it's a large and vocal group now!

What a slap in the face to those that appeared in the Lyme wars five part series. So he thinks Julia is faking it? Sitting at home in her wheelchair all day instead of going out to play with friends?

He says these patients must have something else since their junk test didn’t pick it up. Did he miss the part where Julia’s dad said they went to all of the best doctors and none of them Could figure out the reason for he decline?

What a piece of trash.

Is this the kind of stuff the Cabal does during Christmas time instead of spending time with family?

To further assault patients and erode relationships with family & friends. This mode & manner of lying really is a direct assault method that results in real physical damage, financial and societal damage, too.

I hesitate to give a nickname to this. Nicknames can devolve into a mess.

Best to call it what it is: Propaganda; Lies. Assault. Facts back this up.

Indeed, by a decades long pattern, the IDSA "leadership" has engaged in deliberate lying by skewing, ignoring & covering up medical science,

failure to consider all aspects of tick borne infections;

failure to engage in open discussion with professionals (and, yes, with patients, too) who may have various thoughts, ideas, suggestions regarding the complexity of tick-borne infections;

misleading the public

and targeting patients with personal attacks on their character, preventing treatment.

Funny how this person likes to hide behind this and that "society" but doesn't address the science behind persistence; the flaws of studies looking at short term treatment with antibiotics, and ignores the data from these studies showing benefits; and pretends like the ILADS National Guideline Clearinghouse protocols for treatment and diagnosis don't exist along with a published definition of chronic Lyme.

In other words, he cherry picks his science and ignores anything that doesn't fit his world view and relies steadfastly on an Argument from Ignorance.

I have no problem giving a nickname to him: an unscientific ignorant ass.

Everyone of you have excellent points. And Robin 395858887- you make me laugh with your fun descriptions!

I can't understand why he and his buddies think anyone would listen to that garbage anymore? It is old news, really, really old!

And yes, he doesn't even bother coming up with something original. This is some of his and IDSA's recycled trash from years ago and he and they have been writing the same old thing.

Mr. Broken Record...

A big toad indeed!

[Eek!]

Oh, this is the little man that complained about not missing the "Lyme Loonies" when he retired from NIH. The good news is that he and Wormser and others of their cabal are getting long in the tooth and at the twilight of their sad careers. Hopefully the next generation taking their place will have higher medical ethics and take a more scientific approach to their craft.

That would be a good thing Bob, but, unfortunately they've been training (brain washing) some wimpy idiots at Duke (Lantos) and other places to fill their shoes.

One at the CDC is... Christine- "ethics"- what's that?- Nelson.

You can see a bit about her here...

https://sites.google.com/site/marylandlyme/idsa-panel-review?pli=1

There are others, but these two stand out as the biggest toads so far.

Great web site and thanks for giving the link. Thanks to however put this resource together. When you read the quotes, it makes your fully appreciate what absolute idiots these people are with their incessant Arguments from Ignorance.

I may be announcing a new activist movement soon. I have to admit, the principles and concept are genius. My biggest challenge is technical. Finding the best web forum to conduct it. Anyone interested in exploring this, please pm me. I need help, mostly due to time limitations.
