Look Ma! It's Wormser Jr.
Robert P. Smith...
We know he was coauthor of one of the worst journal articles about Lyme disease & patients ever written- "A Critical Appraisal of Chronic Lyme Disease", linked below.
And he is buddy buddy with some of the worst of the worst- you know them- Wormser, Shapiro, Bumsteere, Auwaeter, Nadelman, Feder, Nowakowski, Johnson, Halperin, Krause, Schwartz, etc. etc. and even the big idiot, McStupid.
He has at least 3 major strikes against him- schooled at Hopkins and Boston and being an IDSA member.
He may be the only one they could get with the same evil/ignorant mindset as Wormser, but without as much negative publicity attached.
He isn't on the panel for the upcoming guidelines either, which those toads may be having to watch their "P's and Q's" right about now, making him a better choice in their eyes.

Darn TC. When I read that this doc replaced the Worm....I thought he has to be better???
We shall see if he helps or hurts our cause. Let the truth be spoken!

Thanks for linking up the NEJM article. This sucks.
Looking at the authors of that article, I can only see: “Henry M. Feder, Jr., M.D., Barbara J.B. Johnson, Ph.D., Susan O'Connell, M.D., Eugene D. Shapiro, M.D., Allen C. Steere, M.D., Gary P. Wormser, M.D., and the Ad Hoc International Lyme Disease Group.” Where does Robert Smith’s name appear? I’m assuming that he is included in the Ad Hoc International Lyme Disease Group, but, can’t seem to locate the name of those members.
Thank you so much for your help. Others will be so disgusted with this pick.
Warmly, Told you...

You'll notice this one listed above...
Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Crofton, MD — E. McSweegan;
Well, it said he was from Hopkins, but that is a lie. But, to give credit where credit is due...
I believe he did attend a night class there once. Maybe even stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!
Back then when he was running rabid and kicking us from here to Kingdom come, he was finally put under orders to NOT deal with anything Lyme at the time - from the superiors.
So to not draw attention he listed his place of business as Hopkins instead of NIH where his good buddy Paul Auwaerter and Steven Dumler (IDSA guidelines) are (were) both employed.
When someone approached management at Johns Hopkins about the problem with that listing, instead of getting a response from Hopkins they got a super, super ugly, nasty reply back from McStupid telling them to go do it to themselves. (And I am saying it politely, he didn't.)
He also insinuated in his response that Auwaerter would certainly be covering for him, so what's more evil, ya know? Anyhow...
He later tried to write it off as a "typo". Yes, I can see that now....
National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD-- E. McSweegan...
Can easily be mistyped as...
Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Crofton, MD — E. McSweegan.
Crofton, Maryland is where he lives. Hopkins is in Baltimore, Maryland so it is a super huge "typo".

Eh. Eeeeeewww. Thanks for this extra insight, Tincup. How disgustingly dishonest it all is.
It’s really no different than Wormser indicating that he voluntarily stepped down/turned down the recent appointment to the US Dept. of HHS Tick-Borne Disease Working Group. We know better that it was thanks to the Lymedisease.org-initiated petition (calling for his removal) that he was tossed from the Committee.
I mean, come on, already. The deceit is up to our eyeballs, now. How many times can a lie be told before it is no longer considered a lie? I’m not sure, but, all of these pathetic and dangerous creeps seem to operate in the same vein: spinning their tall tales into false ‘truths’ until they are blue in the face. Shame on them. Their lies will surely catch up with them one day. Justice and peace will be ours, soon!
Thanks again.
Told you...
