Hi. New to this site, and hoping for support. I'm 5 weeks post dx, Lyme, no co-infections. Functional medicine dr wants the following protocol: 200mg doxy am/pm, 15 drops Stevia am/pm, Serrapeptase 1 tab am/pm, Plaquenil 200mg am/pm (I'm advancing slowly). Midday Ultrabiotic and S. Boulardii. I'm already gluten free, and working on dairy and sugar free. Ultimately wants me on an AIP diet.
Has anyone had any experience with these abx and/or supplements? If so, are they safe? Successful at eradicating the Lyme? Very scared by this dx. Varied and frightening symptoms had me convinced I was losing my mind. Thank you for any insight you may have.

my daughter had lyme years ago and she saw a Dr. H in and she was on this combination. Worked great. Is this the doctor you are seeing? She is very smart and wonderful. I was just diagnosed with babesia, awaiting lyme. What were your symptoms?

No, that isn't the doctor I'm seeing. I'm glad to hear that this combination worked for her. May I ask if the Lyme was newly diagnosed or chronic? How long was she on this protocol? Did she experience any side effects?
I have the gamut of worrisome symptoms.. too varied and many to list here.

you can private message me if you prefer, yes, it did work for her but she was on them for a long time and they had to be switched several times. she had chronic lyme when diagnosed as it took us two years to get her properly diagnosed. Please pm me if you prefer. I would love to know your symptoms to see if they are what she had. She had quite a few.
