get checked for epstien barre...i was really going down hill and ended up in the hospital they found reactivated epstien barre..those of us that think it is always lyme may be surprised. i have gotten MUCH better on valtrex and yes you will herx but not in the same way as antibiotics..please look in to this.. it is important to rule out on a 4 part test and not 2..thanks lymies -------------------- been there done that!

Thanks for writing this. What tests were used to find it reactivated? Might I ask what your levels were. -------------------- Pos.Bb culture 2012 Labcorp - no bands ever Igenex - Neg. 4 times With overall bands: IGM 18,28,41,66 IND: 23-25,34,39 IGG 41,58 IND: 39 Bart H IGG 40

my Igg is off the charts at >750 my Igm was <36 my nuclear antigen was high as well as vca that was high the main one to look at is the nuclear part as it shows if reactivated.. -------------------- been there done that!

Thanks!! I have CMV and my doctor checked the EBV. I had a battle with it back when I was a teen. I'll see about the other testing. -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
