On what medicine did you start to feel better, and how long after treating did you notice a difference?
I have been treating 3 months with no improvement in symptoms. Last tests showed slightly elevated liver enyzmes.

Hang in there tryingtogetwell
Time is the number # 1 healing component along with meds.
According to my journal, at 6 months of aggressive meds, I was at 50%. At 9 months, I was at 75% and returned to work 1 day a week.
Many relapses followed but I stayed in the game. This is normal but certainly misses with your psyche. My goal is to be at 90% at my 2 year mark, which will be November ' 18. Regardless what the future holds, I will stay in the fight. I want my life back !
Meds first 6 months ; Doxy Amox Nystatin Plaquenil Flagyl (Weekends only - No Doxy and No Amox )
Then subtracted Amox and Plaquenil and added Rifampin
After 16 months of treatment I am at 80% most days. I am taking oil of oregano, Silvercillin, Doxy, and supplements. I no longer see LLMD due to no money.
Liposomal Glutathone and powdered Vitiamin C were game changers for me. Gave me energy back.
Every morning I have my ultimate smoothie, which I make a big batch 1x a week. I put these in blender, in 4 separate stages, then merge together ;
Avocado Carrots Brussels sprouts Celery Turmeric Cilantro Garlic Beets Apple Banana Mango Lemon Grapes Blueberry Orange juice Filtered water
Believe it or not, it tastes pretty good. Takes over 1 hour to make 1 weeks worth.
Hope this helps. Never give up. 💚

Thank you so much. Would you say after 6 months you just randomly felt better, or did you see improvement in that 6 months slowly?

Cold laser therapy really helped me, plus taking lomatium tincture. I started seeing results in about two weeks. Not sure why they helped so much.
Of course I'm taking a whole bunch of other herbs too. Andrographis, boneset, sida, sweet annie, and garlic seemed to really help, but over a longer period of time.

It's a matter of each of us finding our bingos. For me. turmeric takes down pain in joints and muscles. I just take it in capsules.
If you want to say what your symptoms are, we could respond with what has helped us.

According to my journal, Month 6 was HUGE !
That AWLFUL hangover feeling upon waking, vanished.
Months 1 - 3 were the hardest. Wanted to quit, wanted to die from unrelenting pain and sickness. Epsom salt baths saved me during this time. ( 2 cups in half tub of warm water for 20 minutes.)
Month 4 showed a total of 3 good days, ugh. But I was able to read again, stop slurring words, stop seeing ghosts, stop hearing someone call my name, stop bugs crawling, stop crying jags and stop living OUTSIDE of my body. Real Neuro scary stuff was leaving and it filled me with HOPE.
Month 5 was subtle improvements. Because Lyme is so isolating, no one was around to tell me I was getting better. I would be able to do things, I had not been able to do the day before, or the day before that, or the day before that.
Month 6 was the turning point in this whole nightmare. More energy, better sleep and appetite, lower anxiety, pain level diminished, and for the 1st time I smiled !
I beg anyone who is reading this to please offer positive feedback to Lyme sufferers. Positive feedback, simply put, makes Lyme patients get better. Hugs to all

I get Herb Pharm brand. I was surprised that iherb carried it.
Tryingtogetwell, I heard that the Lyme bacteria grow very slowly, so that is why it takes such a long time to kill all of them and feel better.

I am chronic and currently going through a very long and difficult prescription drug withdrawal that is making all my symptoms much worse.
Flagyl made me 95% better within two days of starting it, every time I had it. Nobody would give it to me for longer than 3 weeks though, not even Lyme Md., all of them telling me it would destroy my liver. Every time I had it I got better for the duration plus about 2 weeks after I stopped it.
