Wormser quote- "..is to change the name of the illness using a name that conveys that the condition is not solely a clinical diagnosis, but instead a clinical and a microbiologic/laboratory diagnosis.
To this end, we propose the name B. burgdorferi sensu lato infection, or Bbsl infection for short, instead of Lyme disease.
Since most patients with erythema migrans cannot be readily proven to have laboratory evidence of B. burgdorferi infection, such cases would be counted as possible Bbsl infection."
The link won't work on LymeNet because it has a parenthesis in it! Tiny URL won't work either.
I'll post it on my www.MarylandLyme.org site (right side under news stuff) so you can see the article from there.

I personally find it more disconcerting that he appears to be associating Lyme with MUS.
All one has to do is take a look at what is being done with MUS in the UK, i.e., psychologizing pretty much anything under the sun, to know we don't want the acronym anywhere near us.

The ego of this courupt monster is unrelenting.
One would think when he got kicked off of the new Health and Human Service's Tick Borne Disease Group, he would go sit in a corner and weave a basket.
Clearly his ship is sinking. . , So what does he do ? Create a diversion to distance himself from the real issue. He changed chronic Lyme to post Lyme. Now he wants to change Lyme to Bb infection.
This entitles us to change his name from Gary Wormser to Gary The Worm.
Read what Gary The Worm's patients say about him here ;

He probably wants the name changed because Lyme, CT is right across the water from a biowarfare lab. The stuff first showed up near Lyme. When I explain the connection with lyme and Lyme, people get it very quickly.
I vote the name stays the same.

A man responsible for putting out propaganda that Lyme is easy to diagnosis, treat and cure. Now he wants to change the name, because I suspect Lyme Disease has become an epidemic and a serious threat to the public. This is very similar to how they had to change the name from Global Warming to Climate Change, due to the propaganda but out by big oil companies.
Never forget that the majority of Doctors still believe that chronic lyme is psychosomatic due to the propaganda Wormser and his colleagues put out.
I got a proposition for you Wormser, burn in hell!
You had a chance to take part in saving lives, you chose to save insurance companies money, you put money in front of health. You're a capitalistic greedy little weasel, no different than Bernie Madoff himself.
Best thing you can do now is become a whistle blower and admit to the corruption at the IDSA, CDC, and Plum Island. So families can have some type of closure to what's going on! So those that still suffer and have died from this disease, aren't in vain...
I don't know how someone like Shapiro, Wormser, and Steere can live with themselves... I suspect that through the internet, youtube, and documentaries... That people now know who's responsible for the propganda and lies put out about Lyme Disease.
Just like the Under Our Skin documentary said, once this epidemic proportions, people are going to want to know who knew what and when.
I suspect that anytime Worsmer goes out in the public he has to worry about his safety...
youtu.be/_gOjG7QZomw?t=12m15s Dr. Sapi recently stated, that one lyme patient who died, treated with antibiotics for 16 years, yet still had biofilms and borrelia throughout her body and organs.
Can you imagine?
Yet Wormser always said lyme is easy to diagnose, treat and cure. I hope karma catches up with Wormser and his colleagues, remember these Doctors have taken an oath to help patients.
