I am awaiting new Igenex lyme and coinfection testing to be in probably another two weeks. I have been suffering terribly. I cry off and on most of the day, my balance/rocking on the boat feeling is getting worst and my ent doctor wants me to do another mri with and without contrast. I feel it is such a waste of time.

I read that babesia can cause all these symptoms, am I correct? My llmd has me on just ababs until she gets the results. In the meantime, it is hell just waiting.

My eyes keep getting blurry and my anxiety is still through the roof. I have tried rescue remedy, no relief. I feel so disconnected from everything. Is this normal?

Yes, all that you describe in all your posts is most certainly in line with what people experience with both lyme and babesia - as well as with other infections.

It makes sense. It's my interpretation that you are not receiving adequate advice for how to 1) fully identity the full "load" or the at least the most important aspects 2) how to fully address infections or 3) manage symptoms.

As for anxiety, bartonella should also be considered - and the continued appreciation for how the mood Rx you take can be causing a great deal of anxiety themselves. A. Great. Deal.

As I recall you have been "weaning off of" Ativan yet it seems there is no formal plan for the very much required SUPPORT when doing so.

Replacing one mood drug with others that you have inquired about can be very risky, too -- as can taking more than one drug that has brain chemistry alterations. Some of those also can cause high anxiety.

You are no doubt in a rough & tumble place. I recall anxiety just through the roof and that was long before I'd even learn about all the TBD (tick borne disease). Some of the mood Rx made anxiety a million times worse. It took a long time to work through it. Past posts of your might be reviewed for some of the suggestions.

In the meantime, be sure to hold on while also considering how to move forward - putting pieces of the puzzle together.

Is there ANY WAY you can find a doctor who will be more fully invested and has the capacity to offer a better plan?

If possible, be sure to get all the Buhner books on TBD. He explains symptoms and causes in a way that is just so spot-on. And he offers avenues to find one's way back home, too.

To understand why it is that I say you are so not being treated properly, see the complexity of a treatment plan for babesia:

Definitely get tested for bartonella too. I hear that the testing is not so accurate, however.

Sounds like %$#@!

thank you, she did all the coinfections you mentioned and I agree, I have not been properly treated yet for anything. I had some issues with zith and I am allergic to sulfa so Bactrim is out of the question she said to take with the mepron. I had no issue with mepron but I guess you cannot take it alone.

I will get some answers in two weeks, cannot wait to see what this test all shows. I was very close to positive for bartonella last December. She wants to see what has changed and what has not I guess. So in the meantime, I am miserable until then.

Thank you and I will get back once I get these results.
