So, I have almost nothing left between my c5 and c6 vertebra, and it I think it may be what's causing my occipital neuralgia and TMJ. I also have very little cartilage left in my knees.

I have the opportunity to get stem cell injections in these areas; IIRC, they use placental stem cells and the inside layer of the amniotic sack, which they say will not trigger an immune response. I plan to ask what the HLA levels are.

I was hoping I could tap into the collective wisdom here for some insight on this or some research leads to look into. I want to stuff my brain with a bunch of info on this over the next month so I can make an informed decision. [lick]

Hey Anti!

I have no science, but I do rely on the opinions of some LLMD's and the ones I trust have said it is a good thing, which actually surprised me.

BUT, their response kept me from researching because I trusted the source. That's why I have no "scientific literature" to share. Sorry!

Good luck!

Hello Tincup!

and thanks; That's good to hear! That's what I've heard so far from others.

I have heard good stuff too. I also understand that the stem cells have a "mind of their own" and will go where they are needed.

In your case, antiparasitic, would they not be injecting directly to your c5 and c6 vertebrae. Seems like they would do their thing right there where needed?

I heard of a case where the stem cells were injected into the knee but 'dashed' off to the heart! No more heart disease!

I am very interested in the topic also.
