Yes, unfortunately people do get relapses. You just gotta go with the flow re treatment and getting your symptoms down again.

See if you can find ways to reduce the herxing, including having that discussion with people here who have some helpful suggestions.

You mentioned occipital nerves. I have no idea if this would help you: I drink mangosteen juice to stop all Lyme eye symptoms, which were floaters, sensitivity to light, eye muscle pain and growing blurriness. I drink around an ounce a day.

Robin 123 thank you so much! This is as we all know a horrible beast to tame! I was drinking a mango drink for thyroid and will start again. We keep on fighting!

Hi - easy to confuse - mango and mangosteen! Mangosteen is a tropical fruit with all those antioxidants. I drink the MangoXan version - there are lots out there.

Re thyroid - have you had a full thyroid bloodtest panel done? I tested hypothyroid and am doing much better on Armour thyroid - it cleared up my brainfog!

Lots of published researched on occipital manifestations in Lyme disease.

http://www.visavissymposiums.org/research/borreliosis/ocular-manifestations-of-lyme-disease/

I have had a few relapses. Sometimes though not a relapse but an undiagnosised co-infection seeking dominance.

Heartbreaking to be sure. Feel so sorry for you. But you know what has to be done, no if's, and's or but's. Time to lock and load and fight. You got well before and you will get well again. Keep us posted on your progress. Wish you well.
