For those of you with mold illness that have or had nerve pain, assuming the pain was caused by mold, how long after starting mold treatment did the pain start to improve?

I am bringing this old thread up.
Has anyone had experience with mold causing neuropathy, and clearing the neuropathy after remediating the mold, or moving out, plus treating it internally?
Has anyone here remediated mold, thrown out or cleaned all permeable belongings, and improved neuropathy, etc. without moving out ? (I will do searches for other old threads).
Even if the problem was not neuropathy, I am wondering if remediating has been sufficient for people. Along with cleaning/throwing out things, and internal mold detox.
I have a years-long mold issue in our apartment. I know that it's a really big deal! Previously, our landlords (changed hands years ago) all wanted to do basically cosmetic fixes, so I wouldn't let them.
I just finally had an appt with my LLMD, and he thinks the mold is, or may be, a cause of the horrifically painful neuropathy. Or rather that it is knocking down my immune system.
He wants me to either move out of the apartment or remediate it, and treat it internally, before going back on IV abx. I get why.
It's all so overwhelming. I am in such bad shape, and either getting the landlord to remediate properly or moving is an enormous job. But I know it has to be done. Our landlord is extremely difficult, even with a lawyer. They know they have to fix it, however.
We couldn't afford to move, except somewhere quite a distance away, and I am not mobile to travel and drive distances to doctors. Whew, overwhelm. I've known for a long time that this has to be done, of course.

Where exactly is the mold? Under lots of things? Behind walls? Under tubs, showers?
Where would you go if they remediate it? Would they do each section with plastic blocking off the 'clear' areas?
I would be very careful of someone not knowing HOW to remediate, but that said, we did not call in a true "mold expert" because I knew they would spray all kinds of stuff to make sure it was killed.
The main thing is REMOVAL. We had a contractor who walled the moldy area off while working on it.
Once it was all removed, I could tell a big difference in how I felt. I don't remember having neuropathy from it, specifically. (but we didn't have it in the house for as many years as you did)
I was very concerned because we didn't throw things out, etc. .. but once it was all removed, I gradually got better and better.
It's been 2-3 years now since it's all been removed and I would say I'm "OK."
