Went for a short walk in brushy woods several weeks ago. Never saw a tick.
Two weeks ago I started feeling fatigued, then grumpy gassy stomach and it almost felt like a UTI but not really.
Ended up going to walk in clinic and then ER the next day for what I thought was a UTI but only found normal contamination on test. Blood was ok. Had headaches and stiff neck on and off and low grade temperature.
Told Lyme doc and she said go get a COVID test.
That was negative...got it day before yesterday 4-29. Felt worse at nite so took some doxy I have.
Felt pretty good the next day no headache or temp. Took 2 more doxy since then and feel worse again.
Could it be a herx already? Stomach is upset and don't know if it is from antibiotics, lyme or virus. Sheeesh! Its just hard not knowing what to do and for what...know what I mean?
My Lyme doc says I have an upper respiratory infection even though I don't have any respiratory symptoms

I would think you would have upper respiratory symptoms if you have an upper respiratory infection!
Like I have had upper respiratory symptoms for a couple years now - and they can't see what's wrong in a CAT scan. So mine may be fungal.
But big surprise - I looked in my drawer for the liquid nanosilver I got a long time ago and never used. I started with a small amount in its cap, followed by water, and within a day or two, my lung symptoms went away! I love success!
So I think you have something else going on. Doesn't stiff neck usually mean Lyme disease acting up? Sounds to me like you're treating Lyme symptoms.
