What ultimately cured you of chronic ebv ? I'm currently going through a nightmare of obtaining my isoprinosine. My first order cost over $100 and barely lasted me 2 weeks and now they are out of stock on Amazon. I've reached put to the seller twice, with no reply.
I ordered my second pack through a "sketchy" site and now I won't be getting it till July ( I paid extra for express shipping too). It's coming from Russia.
My LLMD doesn't seem to understand my concern and frustration. I'm feeling worse and worse each day, like hell I'll be bed ridden this whole summer.
Apparently not many know about isoprinosine. I gave up. I financially can't keep up with the cost and my LLMD says I need to be on it 3-6 months. With the pandemic the wait alone is too much. I'm at a loss for words.
Can anyone give me tips of what they tried for chronic EBV?

I took Valtrex a year ago, briefly. I took transfer factor-lyme plus. Did nothing. Im currently on bicillin injections, been doing them since March. No relief.

From a Viral and Retroviral Summit, Jill Carnahan said: She looks at the viral load for people that are not getting well. Do they have a lot of old titers and high titers? Chicken pox, HHV6, etc. EBV is the number one that she finds. Lyme and other infections weaken our immune system and allow these viruses to pop up. She thinks EBV is the biggest one to be dealt with.
She usually starts with herbal treatments for EBV. Her favorites are L-lysine which has been shown to prevent viral replication. A lot of people use that for canker sores, HSV (simplex). or genital herpes. For lysine and if you’re treating something active, you can go to 4-6 grams per day. If you use a high dose, you need to balance lysine with arginine.
The two that helped her the most for EBV were high dose monolaurin at 1200 mg TID or 1800 mg BID. She uses capsules. Also olive leaf capsules of 1,000 to 1,500 mg twice a day. That alone has helped her completely get rid of the symptoms of EBV and her patients. Humic acid is wonderful for EBV and is a good chelator of glyphosate. This trio is good enough for 80% of her patients.

I am sorry you are still going through this crap. Honestly I don't know why Dr. H doesn't come up with a better idea than getting crap from Russia. Did you recently talk with her and tell her the mess you are in. Hang in there, don't give up, it is a very challenging road. You are strong.

There are a number of herbs that are specific for EBV – but I do want to note that nearly everyone is positive for EBV.
For most people it is something that does not cause problems.
However, if you are experiencing chronic fatigue like symptoms, it can be the cause.
The antiviral herbs specific for EBV that are also widely systemic in the body are:
lomatium, andrographis,
reishi, licorice,
isatis, Japanese knotweed,
Chinese skullcap root, and fresh ginger root.
The organism also damages mitochondria and their function which is what leads to such low energy levels.
The herbs specific for protecting mitochondria and their function are:
cordyceps, motherwort,
rhodiola, Chinese skullcap root,
kudzu.
I would start with:
• Herbal tincture combination of: Chinese skullcap, licorice, isatis, and lomatium. Equal parts of each tincture mixed together, ¼ tsp 3x daily. AND
• Tincture combination of: rhodiola, reishi, kudzu. Same dosage AND
• Cordyceps 2000 mg 3x daily or tincture: ¼ tsp 3x daily (you can purchase from sagewomanherbs.com)
And do this for 60 days and see if it helps.
You may have to buy the herbs separately and mix them yourself or try woodlandessence.com or elkmountainherbs.com as sources.

It's not clear to me whether EBV can be eliminated but since it is a virus, I assume not, even with the above methods.

Hey guys, again thank you. She has me on an antiviral called Famvir ( generic name). What threw me for a loop is that she wasn't so suggestive about the monolaurin or l-lysin, said it wasn't as effective.
Yes lymenotlite, a virus isn't like a bacteria where it can be killed. Viruses are technically dead anyway but there has to be a way as to "deactivate" it or lower the viral load so to speak.
