Dr added biaxin to penn vk and I was already having to take a lot of probiotics so now trying sauerkraut. Today will be first day with no probiotics as I have been taking less and less with small amts sauerkraut so far so good my diarrhea is gone this morning. The probiotics getting expensive having to take more and more. When I researched sauerkraut one article states that one fourth of a cup sauerkraut is equal to 3 trillion bacteria. Also it can help with gut healing and possible wt loss. Dr thinks now I have a hiatus hernia. It seems my GERD acid indigestion vomiting has gone since starting this.

I recently went to a naturopath. After all the antibiotics, I likely have candida. I mentioned this to her and she recommended taking sauerkraut in preference to kim chi. Unfortunately I did not get the specifics on why.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to get back to that habit.
I found a natural brand that I just crave. I drink the liquid, and wish there was more.

I read things and think this is familiar and by the end I know I have read similar years before and already knew this but forgot. Same with sauerkraut I just forgot until I researched how to make probiotics. I am just going with store bought for now I hope that is just as beneficial seems to be or I know I would have sore throat and diarrhea. I can't believe I don't have to pay $10 per bottle only to run out in few days and dont have to swallow all those capsules. It is great so far, lol.

The amt of capsules I had to take was so difficult. I have not taken any today. Im only eating a forkful of sauerkraut twice each day and today no sore throat that I usually get when not taking enough probiotic capsules. It is also helping the hernia gerd indigestion symptoms that I've had for few years now.

i make my own and it's ridiculously tasty! ( even if i do say so myself)
i had to start with only a forkful as my digestion and gut issues were all over teh place back then - but now I find I can eat spoonfuls with no ill effects. its really easy and takes only around 5-6 days to be ready to eat.
also ferment beetroot with bay leaf, garlic and ginger and thats super tasty too

I ate 1 large forkfull twice a day because I had diarrhea and was scared I would end up with thrush or and cdiff. But the diarrhea went away and never a sore throat. I even decreased that forkfull to just once a day and smaller forkfull. Still no problems.
