I had a good hour of constantly changing blood pressure. I checked it every minute and it was going crazy - from 77/55 to 132/72 and everywhere inbetween.

I felt really sick the entire time with mostly sx of dizy, lightheaded, uncoordination, including chewing wrongly, dropsies, heart beat irregularities, legs not working right, etc...

my pulse never changed from approx. 87. is this a lyme thing ? and if so what could cause that type of episode
??

Note: I am at the moment waiting for a follow up to a mast cell specialist (afrin) to solidify a probable MSAC DX. Dr. said "he'd be on the floor with disbelief " if I don't have it.

Here is another thing I noticed.....

I have gotten similar episodes after a chiropractic adjustment.

Once I went to the ER for the reaction after chiro which at that time, also included a PseudoBulbar episode. they gave me a CT and heart test which showed nothing, no surprise to me.

This time the episode happened 48 hours after my adjustment, although I didn't get it as strong. I just didn't feel right afterward for a couple days and then the episode happened.

I am just trying to figure out how to proceed with all this- what to tell drs, etc. maybe there is a special place I can go? Im willing to travel if it is an actual brain issue. Idid send a past MRI to a specialist and he thought he saw

my brain axis was off a bit. maybe it's that?
or is it JUST a lyme thing? I don't feel very lyme -ish, but all the SX I have could possibly be from my lyme, b.duncani, MSAC as they all present the same.

OR- I am now also suspected EDS and I am thinking THAT could also play an important role here....
im so frustrated. over 80 drs now I've seen

Sounds like possible dyautonomia. It sort of goes hand in hand with EDS and MCAS.

When you say you didn't feel right after an adjustment, did you feel like the adjustment wasn't correct? If I have any symptoms after an adjustment, I have the doc check me again.

Lymetoo,

what can be done about that dyautonomia???

Robin,

this past time I did feel my adjustment wasn't quite right. but the SX this time were not as severe as the time my ajustment felt really good,

that time (the good) I have massive sx. like I could barely function. but I odn't think my blood pressure was being as crazy. IDk, I get so confused!

Should I go to a neurologist ....AGAIN????
and then what do I tell them?? they just seem to always think im nuts. what do I have to do to be taken seriously?

Sorry .. dysautonomia.

You may have to look for a specialist .. or call Dr A for a referral.

I have a friend who has it and she doesn't see a special doctor for it.

She has a very good MCAS doctor, however.

I am a nurse and taking your blood pressure that often would give you varied readings. We are taught

that if you get an odd reading to check blood pressure on the other arm and then let the arm rest

for 5 minutes before trying either arm again. You have to let the vessels in the arm rest before

taking your blood pressure again or you will not get an accurate reading. Just a thought.

Hope you are doing well.
