I have been hysterically crying at least twice a day for no reason. Im already on medications for depression and hypo mania which is not new.

I have Babesia and am being treated with Bactrim and doxycycline -Lyme Dr and Psychiatrist are aware
i had COVID 2 months ago but recovered

I dont know whether this is a crazy part of menopause- whether i should be detoxing even more-diet is good

Im a emotional wreck and often dont want t keep fighting this disease and want to quit

Psych Dr will always try to push a new med im looking for a new one.
any thoughts would be so appreciated!!!!!!

It could be so many things. One thing I wonder about is whether a residual effect of Covid may be affecting you. Many people have neurological or psychiatric effects a few months later. There are Facebook groups for people with long-term effects, some of which happen a few months later.

Or it may be from Babesia or die-off. Have you called your LLMD? I would.

Also, you probably should call whoever you saw or consulted with when you got Covid.

The fact that you don't know why you're crying sounds a bit like it is not just an ordinary psychiatric condition, although, anything could be.

And menopause? That can be very hard to deal with. Doctors who test your hormones and use bioidentical hormones, or other remedies can help with that.

So sorry you are having such a rough time.

Treating Babesia with Mepron (and possibly other meds?) has been known to produce what we call the "Mepron Blues".

Here is some information about it- scroll down till you find the section.

Hope you feel better soon!

Mepron was very hard on me.
I used the Buhner tinctures for babesia for 5 months and that got rid of the babs symptoms.
