So the past couple months I've had cough and congestion from a virus/bacteria. I'm thru w my 2nd round of abx (clindimyacin). Starting about 6 or 7 days ago, my nerve pain (my main symptom) has happened almost daily, where as b4 that, it had given me a few weeks break.
I can never ever figure out what makes it worse or better.
Just wondering if anyone has ideas. Making me really anxious.
I'm starting to think of drastic options like ketamine or gabapentin.

Thank you

Have you tried Mucinex?

That's the only thing I can take for congestion.

Clindamycin is really bad about leaving c-diff behind, so please be careful.

My lyme doc said may be from mask wearing . As it happened to her. Keeps you breathing in your own germs. More reasons to not wear these worthless things.

Well I dont have c so don't think would help me.

No. For the cough or pain?

Good threat. I’ve also been thinking that masks aren’t helpful but, on the contrary, bring more damage than profit. Most people don’t change them every two hours or when they get wet, and masks turn inro sources of germs and viruses. I was also told this by a nurse that works at an air medicalambulance.
That’s why I try ether change it as often as possible or not to wear it at all. Because after wearing a wet mask, I feel like there’s something in my lungs and in my throat. It makes me want to wash my throat with salty water and breathe some fresh air.

Not really sure what that means. They provide up to 10% protection max, but also make us ill b/c we're breathing in our own crap so much. She got sick herself.

It's a gd shaming device. Thank goodness she sees thru the bs.
