I changed this post since my MRI results came in ---
I had severe neuro lyme after second bit in 2011 or so and almost died, losing at least 50 IQ points and the ability to do almost anything , along with lyme alzheimers...
So now I have regained a lot of that back (thank you God!) but now slowly my left side is acting up and not doing what my brain tells it to do. like my left toes werent bending when I told them to with my brain, and my left hand gives me trouble on piano .
I used to be almost 100% ambidextrous. My neurologist wants me to have an MRI but I am skeptical anything will show up there. I have had many MRIs in the past that show almost nothing. but that was prior to this left sided stuff.

Usually does NOT show up on an MRI .. white lesions may show up, which is then often misdiagnosed as MS.
You may want to do it to rule out other potential problems.

I got my results today.
"chronic microvascular ischemia"
well shoot.
My neurologist didn't call me yet since it is the weekend, but I read a bit about this online and it sounds like a sad thing to have.
Can lyme cause this????
is it from inflammation from the diseases???
But I just haven't felt righ t since that drug reaction I had - Rubinol.
Anyone know anything about this??

Sounds like the older one gets the greater the chances of getting this. Most people don't have symptoms.
But I think they are treatments and it can even be reversed.
That being said, I hope your MD can provide you with answers.
