I just watched this very informative video. If you do not know, Dr. Bruce Patterson has been studying and developing immune marker tests since Covid. According to his tests, he can tell whether someone with a chronic condition has Lyme, EBV activation or Long Covid. He also is starting to look into Mold.

I have considered getting this testing done for my son. He is one that never responded to antibiotics. And now is full blown autoimmune dealing with Psoriatic Arthritis.

But!! The most important comment that he made was that they are finding that after borrelia are treated they can leave parts of their protein in our body. When they do that, the body continues to respond with inflammation in attempt to deal with this foreign protein.

So throwing more antibiotics at someone may very well not help at all. I always responded but relapsed until I started diving in my mild hyperbaric oxygen chamber. (Thank you, Phoiph!!) But my son never did.

Anyway, for those that still read on here. I think it is worth the hour to listen to this interview. fwiw.

Btw, he is starting a FDA approved trial for long covid. And after that he said he is going to run a Lyme one!

Here is a link to the test site. And no, like everything with our condition, the test is probably not covered by insurance. But worth checking.

https://www.covidlonghaulers.com/ This link lets you know how to get the tests drawn, etc.
