Has anyone taken this for babesia and had good or bad luck? I am concerned about the potential for life threatening diarrhea/intestinal problems.

Clindamycin is my friend! =)
The very first time I took Clindamycin was for a bad tooth. I was amazed that in 24 hours all of my fibromyalgia pain in my shoulders was gone!
Of course it came back when the course finished. I then let my LLMD know that I wanted to try more.
With any anti-microbial you need to take probiotics. Take them 2 hours away from the antibiotic. And continue to take them when you are done to repopulate the gut.
