Regular Alka Selzer contains Anhydrous Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate and aspirin. Minus the potassium Bicarbonate.
If you are physically able to take aspirin, regular Alka Selzer would work and you could add OTC potassium bicarbonate.
Of coarse you must get thus product cleared by your doctor. Aspirin thins your blood and has contradictions with other meds and other medical procedures such as surgery.
I agree with kgg's reply on your other thread about incorporating epson salt baths with added baking soda. Start at 1/2 recommended dose to see how your body reacts.
Epson salt baths was my magic bullet for detox and pain related issues. Also adds much needed magnesium into your body.

I am just complaining. For me ASG is so much easier for instant relief than upping my Epsom salts or making my own. I am so sick of lyme takes up so much of my life.
I do have a couple boxes of it so now I have to decide if each herx is ASG worthy!
